Engine Swap.....

Is halfway done....

So I was able to get a bit of work done today. With the help of my buddies at the shop, I got the motor pulled from the Cresta. We then started tearing down the MarkII. We pulled the tranny, and drained all the fluids w/ the exception of fuel. Car still has over a half a tank of premium / HI-OC which I plan to ciphhen out, then I'll pull the fuel pump and motor. Also pulled the swaybars, underbracing, and muffler. Tomorrow I'll pull the engine and the rest of the suspension components. Then it's off to the junkyard for the donor/parts car. Hopefully tomorrow I can start putting the cresta together. I need to install the clutch master and line. I just ordered a clutch. Once that comes in, the care should be on the road. It's coming together slowly but surely. It feels good to be back in the mix (^.^).

(LATE) Spring Cleaning....

So I got off work a little early today and decided it'd be a good idea to clean out Jeremy's locker (that I also store parts in.... one of my many locations), to make room for the parts from the parts car. With the help of Jeremy and another buddy, Josh, It only took about two hours. Also took pics of my 33 Wheels that a few people have asked about. The are still for sale. That's about it. Will start tearing down the markII (hopefully) this coming weekend.

Spent the day today pulling all of the electronics. Will try to pull the motor Sunday. I'll make sure I get pics up then.

New daily....

So for the past month (since selling my car), I've been driving my wife's 100 Chaser (she was out of town so she wasn't using it). Well a week ago I finally got a daily of my own. The goal with this car is to just conserve money by not doing a damn thing to it. It gets great gas mileage compared to cars I usually drive. The bad part is I'm kinda spoiled and I'm used to driving nice-ish cars. This one is far from it imo. It can look nice, but again, I'm not PLANNING on doing anything to it. So yea, it's a P11 Nissan Primera. ALL stock except a headunit. Gonna tint the windows (already have tint) and that's about it. When the Shakken is up on this car I should have enough saved to buy something more "my style". This will also help me finally get the Cresta on the road. Speaking of the cresta... she's been very neglected for the past year. Last weekend I decided I should try to clean her up. Here's a few pics of the cars... The sidesteps are in the car... Someone stole my exhaust tip off the car... not too happy about that.The new beast

Well, since LA sold his his mark 2, I gotta keep da two tone alive..

Havent done much to mine in a while..in the process of fixing the aero..so dont mind da gray side step..

Put some new shoes on it..a set of 19in Amistads..fronts: 19x9J +6(+36 w/ 5mm sandwich spacer, 20mm bolt on, and 5mm sandwich spacer..haha) rears: 19x10J +12(+37 w/ 25mm bolt on)

fits pretty good..just need to fix the rest of the aero n lower it more..gotta try to roll low like LA's 100 was..then alignment n then we good..

oh..and if anyone is interested..the AVS Model 5s that were on my car n LA's car is up for sale..staggered set..18x9J+40 19x10J+19..will include any size spacer needed for fronts..n if u get the set I'm gonna throw in 2 more AVS Model 5s (18x9J+35) for free(one has a small hairline crack..) asking $1600USD shipped(west coast)..It's negotiable..if interested..i'll send u my email addy so we can work it out..

JZX100 Chaser For Sale.....

A friend of mine is selling his Green zenki 100 chaser. Figured I'd put it up on here to help him out. Willing to ship. Car is a 96 Toyota Chaser Tourer V Factory Manual, w/ Sunroof.
Background. Car was purchased 2 years ago full normal. My friend then installed coilovers and muffler. Shortly after the engine went (rings). At that time a low mileage motor was swapped in along w/ 90% of the parts list. Since the motorswap and tune, the car has seen only highway miles. My friend bought a motorcylce and just doesn't use the car anymore. Selling to get a K-Car for the wife to drive. Again if you have any questions let me know...
