so la posts up a link on facebook for canards from upgarage n i check it out..it was cheap so i got it, painted it n put it on..not too bad i think..good thing it ends at the center where my bumper goes up..(note the other mark 2 in the fam..haha)

Today on YAJ.....

A lil 71 Cresta love.... This car has been on YAJ for like over a year. Awesome setup. Really clean. Had LED tails on it but I guess the owner sold them a while back. Shows how the fender work was done on his Yahoo account too.

If you know me, you know I despise RB25's (or 20's). Hate how they sound, power sucks (factory) etc.... but this swap does look pretty clean. Should have put a JZ in it of course...

Layout....

Got tired of all the bugs in the old 1994 template for the blog layout. Playing around w/ the blogger template designer. Hope it doesn't make it too hard for people to read/navigate. I like the old one, it was simple, but had too many annoyances (is that a word?)......

Summer Drift Matsuri.....

Was awesome... just motivated the hell out of me to get my 90 ready for the next one in November.... Didn't take many pictures while walking and driving around the awesomeness known as EBISU Circuit(s)... but here are a few..

Rob's SR 240sx.... Rob was puttin in work all day. He drove all the way up from Osaka, and has to be at work Monday morning (I met him Sunday lol).
Also saw this missle C33 Laurel @ Minami Course...crazy.....All in all an awesome day... got to see Suenaga and Kumakubo do tandem and some stock looking 180sxs, Koguchi in his missle S14, and of course Daigo Saito in his missle jzx90 (all stock except knuckles, diff, coilovers, and 255 fronts and 295 rears)...

It was cool to met fellow bloggers Alexi from Nori Yaro and Rob from Roadster Drift. Cool guys and really good drivers.

If you ever have a chance to go to a Drift Matsuri (or any event at Ebisu for that matter) take advantage. Its awesome (how many times is that now lol).

I leave you w/ a few videos (too lazy to edit/combine)... searched for North Course all day... it was the one near the Dinosaurs (inside joke).... this is what was there... worth the wait... SR20 Power R32 Type M...

Memory Lane Part 2......

I really miss this car.... shoulda put a 1J in it... Went through an RB20 and 2 Sr20's before I put her to rest.... car was awesome though.... feels like a 4 door s13...if I had the opportunity to have one again, i'd probly jump on it...

Had the hood and fenders off to paint them... never happened, relocated the harness while I had it apart...

The Cockpit... this wasn't at its prettiest... ziptied 52mm omoris hangin outta the AC vents(so ghetto and so dangerous lol) and Boost gauge ziptied to the rollcage, dildo knob, spin turn knob, deep wheel.. you know the essentials...

SO seeing Kauai's car today made me go on a F50 google hunt lol... man i love this car... Its on the list of cars I want when/if I get back to the states......

Went to the beach w/ wifey, Jeremy, Kauai, and Kiomi. Had a blast. First time to the in like 4 years.... It was hot and despite putting on sunscreen i got a little DARKER *SIGH*...

Busy Day...

Went to the shop to help my wife get her car get ready for japanese inspection. She did most of th work on her own or w/ the help of the fellas or myself. Swap wheels, pull coilovers and install stock shocks/springs, change muffler... busy day... yes I do have a keeper haha...

She looks good w/ fat lips on the front... jeremy's looking for two more vs-ss haha....

Then Jeremy and I decided we should start track prep for next month early because the shop is gonna be closed as of monday for a month... (im calling it indefinately)...so we cleaned the locker out and planned who was taking what parts, and where...

Once Again....

I will not be drifting during JZ meeting. You have no idea how pissed I am about missing out on this. I asked quite a few Japanese friends and a few shops (shops whom I KNOW will be there at the show) to help me sign up (didn't know registration was via their website or first come first serve at their shop on a specific date). So sure enough I check Nori Yaro this morning and I see that not only did I miss registration but its full already. What a great way to start my morning. Oh well, guess I'll just have to try again next year.....

Team Shake It @ T50 Japan drift meet

Went up to Fuji Speedway to attend (read watch, cuz I'm BROKE) a drift meet held by T50 Japan (of hachi roku fame). Meet up w/ friends from Team Shake It who represented all day, even w/ the crappy track conditions (wet, dry, half wet/half dry). Dirt drops and long side brake entry's all around haha. Enuf jibjab... heres the pics... Speakin of Dirt drops.... My Mark II looks all sad and lonely and left out... haha Before we got there Kenji (Yamanaka) had a lil incident in the dirt himself.... knocked his alignment outta whack... but he fixed it and was back on the track.....

This Team Axis (Axis Auto) Mark II was tearin it up as well. Straight Pipe on this car sounds so dope.... Here's a vid of the Hachi Group gettin it in the rain... crazy how fast they were driving and how far they were initiating, even w/ the wall there...
